Towel Time
The Bears were uninspired, pathetic, and ill prepared. First and foremost the Green Bay Packers are not the second coming with regards to the NFL. They are a team that does on the field what they practice. They are humans. The Bears are equally as human as they, call it not being passionate, call it not preparing, or not doing your homework, this team is awful. There is NO excuse for a professional football team to EVER get trounced like they did sunday night, and CERTAINLY not 2 weeks in a row. That is a group of guys that don't care. Even the pathetic Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the 90's didn't get the silver platter the way the Bears have over the past 2 years. And I can say without a doubt that this is some of the most pathetic football I have ever seen the Chicago "professional football" Bears play in my lifetime. And we had some bad years in the 90's. That being said they are still people, working a job, albeit the job is in the national spotlight (nothing more true the getting pummeled on SNF) but people nonetheless that are NOT doing their job, a lot of the time. If I failed to do my job to the magnitude of this crappy squad I would have been fired by now. It is sad to say (especially with the promise this team held in the offseason, and on paper, and apparently "self proclaimed" on the practice field), but it looks like dismantle time, cut our losses, make room for a good draft pick, get a few people in top spots that care with conviction, and start over. I knew we haven't been very good against our Nemesis packers lately, but I hadn't realized that Jay has only ever won ONE game out of a possible 12 over the course of his career. Time to move on.
